Two things.
One, driving down the highway at speeds of 65mph or more, I get a very faint clunking noise that seems to be coming from either the engine or tranny area.
The noise is sparadic. Why would the steering column be making a noise when the steering wheel is not really at all going left or right all that much??
Two, the obvious reason I believe something is wrong with the steering column. I turn the steering wheel back and forth and the same sound is coming from the car. This is done while the car is in neutral and running.
Is it a certain part of the steering column or the entire column itself?
Or... is it something entirely else do you think?
Thanks for any ideas!!!
