Looking at a set of TRW forged pistons...anyone ever use em? good...bad?

they came stock in 5.0L mustangs from about (i think) 86 till production run March of '92. They've been know to hold more power than the block it self can handle. The rods are also forged from the factory

The rods are NOT forged from the factory, unless you're talking about an 03 Cobra I used TRW's in my 83, and they were nice, but they have no more valve relief then the stockers do, so don't plan on running a decent size cam with them, or you'll have to fly cut them.

I remember someone telling me that they were forged... he even posted a picture of a twisted rod.... basically saying that no cast rod would twist, instead it'd break.
