Using Sd Ecu (da1) With Maf Car?

For testing purposes, is there any problem with using my ols DA1 ecu in a car that is CONVERTED to MAF? I recall adding the 2 pins for the signal on the MAF (the power was powered off relays in my setup I believe), and IIRC, there are some smog electronics that have to be moved around.. But I believe all those are deleted from my car (67 with EFI).

So if those TAD and what not sensors are removed, is it cool to plug in a DA1 computer
