If i am not mistaken they will fit under a stock hood (KB). I am getting a KB because of the low end torque and my auto.
A torque converter + tranny cooler will rock your world and melt your tires!

Oh yeah and don't forget the noise factor... obnoxious V1 S-trim FTW. :-D
Wes
A T trim is even more obnoxious..............that what I love about it!!!
Thats why Im going with the V-1 if I get a Vortech.
Doesn't the T-trim headunit bolt into the S-trim brackets with little to no modification?
Wes
If it's to loud your too old!!! And I bet I'm alot older than you!!
Ears still ringing.Ask Wes. He heard it. lol
Ears still ringing.
Did Sam tell you we ran his car around open headers after we finished up his Trickflow install? (midpipe not even close to fitting)
It was just silly how loud it was at idle... could not even talk... WOT was insane... and we loved every minute of it.
Going down the road we see an old lady in her yard literally put her hands over her ears before we even got up to her.
It was trailered to exhaust shop... it was an attention getter to say the least.
Vortech guys have more fun,
Wes
Now that's a killer upgrade path - if a 5 minute $60 pulley doesn't make it fast enough, bolt in a new headunit in about 30 minutes. :-D
Wes
i bought a used vortech kit off here for right at $2k with maf/inj.
i dunno what you can get a kb for, but you can find used vortech's all day long for around that price--btw there are so many used vortechs cuz guys take them off for turbos lol.
btw, my price is negotiable as i have alot of extra parts in the kit.
T-Trim head unit
- freshly rebuilt by Vortech
- race transmission (REALLY noisy BTW)
Custom 10-rib pulley setup
- only one of its kind that I'm aware of (crank pulley was almost $500 alone)
- two blower pulleys
- custom billet tensioner for 10-rib
- billet tensioner reinforcement (so you can REALLY tighten it down)
- custom water pump pulley to fit huge crank pulley
- two blower belts
Oil feed and drain lines
All updgraded silicone couplers and t-bolt clamps
Anderson Power Pipe
Greddy Blowoff Valve
Custom inlet tubing (setup for Fox TB conversion, SN95 setups suck)
Hardware, brackets, accessories (I'll buy all new shiny grade 8 bolts for you to make sure they're all there since I haven't installed it yet, and was planning to do this anyway)
Instructions
Some of the stock stuff (which you can sell on eBay)
I have a guy offering me a T-trim with all this for $2500. what do you guys think? Too much blower?
Most people I see with T trims are built. Stick with the S trim.
too much blower?
nah...
not enough engine
btw, if you do get a KB:
if you thought you had traction problems now......wait til you slap that thing on there
