Exhaust and suspension are both awful jobs in my book. I find these tend to be the most rusty, stiff and difficult to disassemble. So ball joints, bushings, control arms, ect. These components make for awful jobs. If I have to do something like drop the transmission, the worst part of the job is disassembling the exhaust to make it happen. And suspension is just evil. I have had bad experiences with hardened bolts seizing in suspension bushings. One bolt can take hours of labor to resolve.

I would bet that most of the people who say they hate the starter bolt or coolant jobs haven't done anything like disassembling the rear suspension or replacing bushings or exhaust parts.

I've done plenty a rear gear install, tranny work, engines pulled, bushings, ball joints and exhaust.
Still, for me, coolant is the worst.
I'm not sure what I hate most, the smell or the feel?
