(she was early 20's if you couldnt tell by the post) it was a black 84 with leather and by the pics she showed me when i got down there it was a *%$*!@#$ steal. those only come by once a blue moon and now i'm feeling very blue i was so excited when i was going head down there i rolled out the beast (84). some dude in the same court as her had a bad ass roush stage III 550hp 06 GT

So today I find this today while I'm at work. I went ape sh!@t.

http://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/car/205931449.html

So I email this dude thinking what would the odds be if its the same car. And I'll be dammed it was. So I contact the guy he and go to see it. Its a silver 84 with grey leather interior (which is by far the best i've seen EVER) not a stich missing from the steering wheel and shifter, not even a hand mark from driving. It has 49K on the ticker not sure if its been rolled over (anyone have any ideas how to check) oh and white face gauges!! The interior reflects nothing to be over 100k. The engine compartment now thats a different story. I pop the hood on this and see a looks to be an original motorsport strut brace. I'm thinking okay does this person know what came factory on this car? I look somemore and see a nice cone filter on the VAM, looks to be an original cone filter set up?. So while I'm in this neighbrohood I see a silver looking motorcraft box bolted onto the passenger strut tower (tfi relocation kit?) It was dark and I really cant tell. Only bad things about this car while I was looking:

RF motor mount is bad

Clutch is shot you can drive it but dont start building boost.

Shocks seem to be really loose all around

An oil leak from I think the return line flange again it was dark.

left front fender has a nice ding

left rear by taillamp housing is dented on quater panel.

left rear taillamp lense is cracked in the middle.

inner hatch panel finisher missing.

I couldnt really check the spool of the turbo due to the clutch but it wanted to go when i started getting into it.
the title is pretty much jacked. there are three people involved with this title - registered orignal owner - purchaser from said registered orignal owner, purchaser to me. purchaser from Original owner never finished title transfer (why dunno). So there are going to be some problems dealing with this. I got all of the bills of sale except from the one from the original owner.

So all in all a 8 out of 10. Interior being the crown jewel. pics to come in the daylight hours

Ohhh you all better sit down for this. This guy paid 175 for the car (inheriting all the dmv problems and clutch issues). In turn tries to screw me for a 1g. I in turn screw him for a decent sony pcg k15 laptop that has overheating issues (worth probabl 500 bucks) and 220 cash money. All in all I came up on this SVO for around $700.00.

PEOPLE CHEAP CLEAN SVO'S DO EXIST
recipie for finding cheap SVO:

1) stupid young girl age 23
2) stupid 5.0 nut that knows jack about SVO's - this is the kicker
3) patients to clean up paper work ( for 700 bucks I got all the time in the world.)
4) comming up on a very cheaply restorable car.................

you guessed it, priceless.

so up picking the car up and taking back to my house (parents unkown of whats going on) I roll up in a silver svo (dailey driver is the 86, other 84 is sitting at my shop in peices.) similar to my other one. Dad says you got it running, I said yep and went and skinned some cows to get this nice interior. Pops start saying things like no it always had leather. He follows me down to the shop to drop the other 84 off and see's the (earlier purchased 84) goes to look inside and start laughing. I tell him what i paid for it and got a pat on the back and big smile. :flag:

so thus concludes my 5hour ordeal gnight stangnet and thanks for blessing me with the knowledge of SVO's :SNSign:

someone tell me why i have an amp switch in the center console...

ohh just looked gills style in car boost controller...

the black one holds a centimental value - first car that i purchased out right. First car I got a speeding ticket in doing 92. I have all the sheet metal to restore the black car and quick shot of paint its good to go.

the silver one is to make me feel better about the black one...

oh and found out what the deal with so said clutch. I was just curious after i got off work today. I pulled the IC off the car ( a good coating of oil inside) and found the compressor hose pinched (not sealing). Thus not building boost. I got it to build boost but it still has a very stiff clutch pedal and a horrible whine from either the trans or the clutch (its in the driveline). I can think its slipping a little still tho...I did notice that the orignal hurst shifter is missing this would explain why it felt so different, not sure what it is but its got the adjustable stops.

sorry evintho you missed again:rolleyes:

That's OK. $700 is far too much money for an old beat up Ford in that horrible state of disrepair. But, because I feel your pain, and I'm a really nice guy, I will come to your house and remove that rusting hulk from in front of your residence at no charge whatsoever! I know, I must be losing of my mind! However, I believe all automotive eyesores, such as the above vehicle, that desecrate the landscape need to be disposed of (in my garage) post haste!
