mine was about $800, for all new syncros and a new second gear which was almost $100 itself. I took it in and out myself too.

Rebuild costs depends on what is wrong with it.
If the synchro blocker rings are all that is needed, it can be done for $100. A full rebuild kit with bearings is about $200. If any gears are gone, add $100/gear. Then toss on labor.
Sometimes getting a t-5 rebuilt is more expensive than buying one brand spanking new.
Since i do them myself, my average cost is $300
