So ontop of the flat tire when I was at the Doctors office I went outside for some air while waiting and see this damn Grand Marquis nosed up against my car:mad: The front bumper was pushed into mine, the damage is not severe but the licence plate is all warped and the licence plate bracket is cracked now and the paint on the bumper is scratched from the bracket sliding back. I left a note on the other car with my number and the dammage and asked to call me. I told them I took pictures and if they want to settel out of pocket or go through insurance. The dammage is less than $250 so legally I didnt need to call the police and the Sheriff standing there said the same thing. Well I have not heard crap and wanted to know if someone knows how to get a Name/ Phone number from a license plate or if I should just call the police:shrug Normaly I would be like "whatever" but damn the alarm went off and they couldnt even leave a sorry note:mad:

You should have pissed in their cowel area. That way when they turn the air on (especially heat) they will get a nice reminder of what happens when they park against other peoples car.

If you look at the lower left corner of the first pictureyou see the edge of a white bumper, thats the sherrifs car who said "dont look like any damage so you dont have to report it, but if you did I would have to sight you for the expired reg". I looked at the car and see that Im dumb and it expired 10 days ago :nonono: So since no report and I never got to see the person cause I had to go back inside for blood work I would like to call them so that they might be civilized enough to handle it.

I think it is really immature to hit someones car, nomatter how minor and not communicate with the other driver. If i was you, i would've let air out of all of their tires so when you got backoutside they would be there. Just an idea...

they were probably 103 years old. Around here the "elderly" park with the feel method, when they feel they've hit something they stop.

What makes it even worse, is that you parked way back to allow people with larger vehicles ample room to park.

I don't even know what I would have done, I would have too pissed to do anything rational.

I KNOW! lol The parking spots are long enough for a crew cab dually, so I always keep my nose about a foot and a half back and I am still deep into the stall. I figure people will see the cars on both sides and not pull foreward too far, guess it dont work. And too many times at this doctors office do I only see a poof of white hair and knuckles drive by:nonono:

I was thinking the same thing about how you were even parked back leaving space in front of you....man I would be mad as hell and they didn't even back up after they bumped you! Must have been oblivious...I hate parking lots.

You’d be wasting your time filing a police report. Parking lot damage = dick all you can do about it. Here it follows under “no fault insurance” and each persons Insurance Company is responsible for paying out the claim.

If you still want to find out who owns the vehicle, and try to hash it out with them, you could always contact a local Private Investigator in your area and have them run a Drivers Licence abstract based on the plate info. That’s what I do for a living and the cost of a plate search is only about $15 plus administrative fee’s.

This reminds me of a story...:nice:

One time me and my buddy went to the mall. We were in his beater V6 Mustang (ohhh man...) and some old fawk did the exact same thing that happened to lasersvt, except it was a nice Caddillac.

Well, he doesnt take kindly to *******s seeing as he is one himself. So hes like "**** this, hold on". I knew what was about to happen so I just started to walk away.

No later than 5 seconds I hear "crunch crunch crunch" and saw him back up, pull forward into their car probaly 4 or 5 times before he finished and left.

I felt bad to an extent, but hell their bumper would end up like that anyway if they keep parking like that...:rlaugh:

If I were you I would call the police again. If there is damage they have to write an accident report. All you have to do is give them the plate number of the other vehicle and the pictures. It does not matter how much the damage is in price the police still have to write a report. Most likely the cop that was there was too lasy to write a whole report and just thought if he told you you didnt need a report you wouldnt hassle him. Just call there nonemergency number and I am sure that they will write the report for you and find the person who hit you.

wow thats pretty lame of them to not call you back :notnice: however, if the damage aint that bad (just your plates), and in your state man, dontcha think its better to just let it go? it was probably some old fart or someone lame like that. dont waste your time and energy on numbn*ts like those. every eventually gets what they deserve, im sure that d-bag is no different. dont get me wrong, id be fuming like that too, if anyone touched my baby  just my 2 cents

when people do that i just spit of kick on there car hard.

...last week i parked my car in the middle of nowhere in a parking lot and some douch parked next to me so close i couldnt even open my door. I was so pissed i popped my trunk, got my tire iron out and hit his Toyota

Well I have been over it for three days which is why I am not complaining abot it since the 10th The dammage is the license plate bracket (cracked and chipped) and the bumper is scratched from the license bracket being pushed upward into it. It just reinforces my thought that old people should not be allowed to drive, they all drive by braile and do 45 in a 70 :nonono:

And SRT, you need a trunk monkey:rlaugh:
