I'm really wanting to get one, but I hear it's going to get an aluminum block in a year or 2. I'll wait for that and to see how trashed the economy is after the government gets done with it.
Once the Coyote is introduced the 5.4L is gone. From what I understand the Coyote block can be used to make both 4.6L and a larger cube motor and save weight.
yeah, I've been loving those vids. It was great to see the GT500 do so well. I was especially surprised by how poorly the little beamer was rated. I think Ford may be gearing up for total domination. They are already doing very well, and with the addition of some new exciting engines, they could be the performance vehicle powerhouse of the coming decade. I just wish I had enough extra cash to buy stock.
Just get the crate motor when it comes out. That's what i want under the hood of my 07 a shiny new DOHC 5.0L happiness in a box (or crate I should say).
Anyone else notice all the brake dust on the wheels towards the end on the run? Then Probst mentions that the brakes were maxed out in the interview. He seemed to be having lots of fun though. Wish I could have been driving that beast.amnit:
Yep, Randy Pobst did the testing for the top 10 driver's cars for 2010. Dead last was the Camaro SS, number 1 was the Porsche Cayman S, followed by the Audi R8 5.2 V10, and the Mazda Miata MX-5.
