04 Track times (new best)

    Update Slips down the bottom

    Just got back from Atco Raceway , and it was COLD just above 32 !
    Well I was one of the first lucky cars to run on a really cold track with no grip at all , so this is how it went !
    First run , tons of slip , all of first gear , most of second .
    60`...2.328:nonono:
    1/8...9.170 at 81.76..........1000......11.755
    1/4...13.946 at 103.11
    Run 2 , I came out with alittle less gas , let off alittle after 1-2 shift .
    60` left lanes timer was no working for the 60` and 330
    1/8....8.878 at 82.82........1000.......11.433
    1/4...13.602 at 104.27
    Run 3 Track was starting to get sticker , still slip off the line and alot of slip with 2/3 shift.

    Run 4 Still slip off the line and still silp 1/2 shift

    Run 6 same slip as all night , off the line and 1/2 shift

    Removed = sway bar , AC , dog bone , medal under dash , spare tire , stock exhaust , foam behind bumpers , foam behind doors , all sound insulation , few other small things !

    hey nice dog ..is atco still a hole in the wall?been thier once,,yea im a jersey boy,,,,,at etown you should be able to lower your numbers...here in south texas we had a track that just closed up..it reminded me of atco,,except here you could park your car along the track and party..Almo dragway...thanks toyota..Newtundra plant chased it away for houses and now toyotas falling...we only have san antonio speedway left close by...good times for that track

    thats good to here about track..Do they hold swap meets thier yet?.couple of close friends used to run thier..these names ring any bells..Roddy Conliff,Eddie Blewett,James D`Amore,,,,

    I never hear much about swap meets , I guess E-Town is the only good place for swap meets , and sorry , names dont ring a bell , but then again im really just a weekend worrior , I only ran in a few NMRA events , almost won the 14sec flat award last summer but lost it to a 40s hotrod by a few tenths :(

    Well done! Good to see your new mods are working.
    I'm surprised you can even run at a track that cold. Here in Vancouver BC, if it gets into the lower 60's the track gets too wet.
