I'm considering gear drive for a 351C motor, I read a couple things online about installing grear drive and it sounds like many of the options out there are not simple bolt-ons (Peter Jackson GD for example), and some work is needed to make it fit.
Anyone that installed gear drive have suggestions/gotch ya's or product recommendations? I think Peter Jackson's are too expensive... I've found a couple other sources including: This One For S/B Chevy or 351C

Install in a 302 "required machining"...
Yeah, grinding a nub on the timing cover. Took 3 minutes.
I have seen the paperwork for installing a 351C PJ gear, it has no such notes.
If you get a 'dual idler' style, you should be fine. It's the single idler sets that require in depth mods to your block.
The C has a smooth timing cover, it should be a breeze to install.
My PJ gear made such a pretty noise!
