I am trying to decide which way to go with my project 93. What are the advantages to going 5 lug conversion? Is it just to have bigger brakes? I am trying to decide if its worth the money and time.

Do you want to do a real 5-lug swap or a budget/junkyard swap? You can just swap to Mark VII front rotors with ranger axles/drums in the rear and have no gain other than better wheels and an extra lug, or you can do a real SN95 setup and gain bigger, better brakes so you actually stop.

Kinda off topic, but what are the PBR brakes off of.. I had them on my car when I got them up front, so I have no idea what pads I would have to get or anything lol

99-04 GT and V6 Mustangs had the PBR's. The Cobra caliper is also made by the PBR company, but its a totally different caliper that the GT/V6 caliper.

The 94-98 GT/V6 had iron calipers that are no better than stock fox calipers.

PBR is a brake manufacturer.

There are three calipers made by PBR used on the Mustang.

99-04 Gt/V6 caliper
94-98 Cobra caliper
99-04 Cobra/Mach/Bulllitt caliper (different casting and piston size)

How do I know which one I got, if I took a picture and posted it would you be able to tell, or is there some numbers on it somewhere that will tell me?
