ok, got some time to work on the truck today.
nice tan from welding for about 6 hours today
Nice progress on the project, but dude seriously that "sunburn" is not cool
didnt realize i was getting burned. i'm sure it's bad for me in some way! next time i wont be working in a cut off shirt!
Holy ****, I had no idea you could get uh... weldburnt like that. I know what happens when you don't wear eye protection, so it shouldn't surprise me, but it does, haha.
Nice work... coming together pretty well.
i should have taken another pic yesterday. i couldnt even wear a shirt b/c it was burned so badly. it started peeling today already!!
pulled the interior out tonight. gotta replace the seats and carpet, so this makes it much easier to finish up my welding this weekend.
this is what happens when you use an air hammer to keep the driveshaft from hitting. (i had a solid aluminum shaft from a newer ranger in the 95)
there will be a tunnel welded in to make sure the new driveshaft wont have any issues
also did a little welding on the drivers side pillars yesterday. they still need to be cleaned up and a little more welding to finish
ok i have a TON of pics. the welding of the new roof is officially FINISHED!!!!!!
here's how my saturday went
Wow bro that is awesome! Great job...body work is something I have always wanted to learn.
It's going to look like nothing ever happened when your done
heres some pics from today. not work done but i got a nice donation to the project.......thanks to the crew at Fore Precision Works!!
that diff cover starts off as a 45lb chunk of aluminum. it's reall thick and should hold up nicely. now i just have to decide if i want it on the mustang or the ranger...........
more progress. it will be ready for primer on monday. we were out so i left a little early today. there are still a couple of high spots i need to get out but it is mostly finished.
Im really enjoying watching the progress of this project. Nice work
Awesome stuff so far.Very cool project.
Man that's bad ass. This is a great thread... and it's not even Mustang related, lol.
it has the heart of a 95 mustang......at least it will in the next few weeks
This project is bad ass! Subscribing
finally got everything close enough to where i want it to prime it in. still have a couple of spots to fix some pin holes but it is looking a lot better than last month!
Holy crap, what a turnaround! Nice work, man. I know you will appreciate the truck that much more once it's done, with all of this work coming from your own hands.
it's nice to be doing everything myself on this build.
heres some pics from tonight
