Nice man, looks VERY well done.
That's a nice shortblock you got there, lol.
That looks minty!!!
got the truck blocked and almost ready to be trimmed out. also got the engine bay cleaned out with purple stuff and a pressure washer
How did I not see this thread before!
Keep it up! Full of win IMO!
Awesome man, getting closer.
truck is coming home tomorrow to start on the engine install.
Not going to paint the under hood area? Its a lot easier to do it now, than later.
all the under hood will be done with POR15 once i get everything cut/ drilled and in place. i dont wanna have to grind any fresh paint off to prep for the engine to go in. i dont think i have anything left to do except drill the holes for the motor mounts but i just want to make sure. i'm leaving the core support out till the engine is in for good. that should make everything VERY easy to get lined up!
now i'm almost at the point that most people START their build! it's good to have the truck back home and i'm hoping to test fit the engine in it this monday.
BTW, why is it always pouring a flood when i need to trailer my truck somewhere?!?!?!
Looks really good! At least you won't have to worry about the body rotting off of this one now!
Very nice, looking forward to more progress.
The body work came out great, I'm really impressed with how you got it to line up so well.
