ALL READY TO WIRE MY FAN UP BUT I CANT FIGURE OUT WHICH CONNECTOR IS POSITIVE AND WHICH IS NEGATIVE. MINE IS OUT OF A 97 MARK SO I WANT TO HAVE IT RUNNING ON HIGH AT ALL TIMES.
THANKS.
It's real simple - wire it up correctly and the fan sucks air through the radiator. Wire it wrong and you will feel it blow air backwards out the front of the radiator. Neither way will hurt the fan or make smoke.
are you wiring this up to run all the time or are u using a thermostat or a DCC? I am looking at a mark viii fan myself and i need to know how everyone is wiring it up...thanks
You would want a 75 amp relay or a Dc Controller. I would far and away choose the latter, esp for that big daddy fan (which can otherwise really suck some start-up juice).
