I am replacing the rubber lines that connect to the EGR spacer. I was able to replace the front one but the back one, nearest the firewall is, flr lack of a better term a, PITA. Does anyone have some insight to making this replacement easier?

Also I was thinking of maybe extending the nipple higher so the next time this would not be a problem. Does anyone know the size of the nipple and if its a NPT standard size?

long tipped needle nose help getting the hose on and off, but the clamp (depending on the direction the factory put it on) can be a PIA. I use a 1/4" drive socket set to weasle in there.

I'm pretty sure that nipple is a 3/8" NPT on the manifold :nice:

LOL damn I wass thinking of removing the upper but wow what a PITA! I think this is a weekend project. I will pull the nipple to and see if i can get a small pipe to extern it off the intake and then install the hose. Oh well chalk another one to ford! LOL
