If your cruise control is not working your problem is 80% the VSS sensor on the tranny/speedo cable. I used my factory Ford manual and everything ohmed out and checked out. I went and bought a VSS cause thats the last thing I thought of (usually the last thing you do fixes it). Now keep in mind I had NO CODES. Here is what to do to check if your VSS works. Take out the VSS out and put your ohm meter leads between the two connectors. Put your meter in ac not dc. Now spin it by hand. You should see the ac voltage go up. Mine did not. It ohmed out ok but did not produce voltage. I just wanted you all to know and not waist a Saturday fixing this thing.
