A friend of mine and me have 2 different intakes. I have a BBK SSI intake and my friend has a eldebrock performer intake. She says that the BBK SSI intake makes 1 hp and 1 torque more than the PORTED eldebrock and to be honest I think she is full of ****. Anyone have anything on this. There is no way it makes more hp on a ported eldebrock but I am not 100 percent
ask him where he got his info from - word of mouth is worth squat. The Mag tests that tested several intakes at once years ago had it slightly higher than a stock GT40 style intake up around 6,000 rpm. And if he is referring to the mag article on that ported Cobra lower - they never showed a picture and they never said who did the work. Bogus! I'd love to do a ported GT40 test head-to-head with a BBK.
