Low Vacuum

i just put gt 40 heads and upper and lower intake , thotttle body and mass air, also a f cam,, I get the car back together and I do not have enough vacuum to run the power brakes ?? I did read that adjusting the RR's too tight can cause this.. we torque them to 20.. any ideas ??

This thread needs to go in tech section. First things to check IMO are all the vacuum lines. Make sure you didn't leave one off or if they are cracked/broken etc. If you don't have the rockers adjusted properly(to much preload) you'll probably have one of the valves hanging open. Also another common problem with low vacuum is that the intake gasket slipped when you were installing it.

you should have at least 12-14 inches of vacuum at idle Get a vacuum gauge and measure it to see if you have a leak. Also the F cam is known to cause low idle issues with bogging and low vacuum.
