The only way i can get it off is cut it in one inch strips and pull each piece ,it is really stuck downAnd people wonder why I am so anti sound deadener....it is just a nightmare anytime you ever have to work on a car, and it does a great job of hiding rust and trapping moisture.

Not a fan of sound deadening... due to the sticky residue and hassle of handling the material.I have most of it off any place i have to weld ,still may have to pull a couple of smaller pieces
Yes ,looks like they took a sludge hammer to it ,the replacement quarter was a red oxide primer quarter so it had to be a long time agoWow... looks like it was beat with a hammer.
