I have my 98 GT and I am going to be doing the complete PI Swap within the next two week and does anyone have a link to the article on the procedures. I know I have seen it before, so I was just wondering if someone could send me a link and what kind of power gains am I looking at with the PI Swap? I am hoping to make 300 Crank Horsepower. Also with my mods I have done will I make 300 Crank Horsepower???

I wouldnt buy a kit, its a waste of money, just get the parts seperate and it will be cheaper. Here are some more sites, these helped me during my swap, if you need any help with the particulars PM me. There is a parts list of things that you will need on one of these pages, check it out, its a big help and will speed things up for ya.

I am from South Dakota, and I scored P.I. Heads with Cams for 400$ shipped. They had 25,000 miles on them and they were off a 2001 GT. I paid 200 dollars for a brand new PI intake. So anyways did I pay too much for the heads or no??

no, i paid 355 shipped for mine w/cams and 112 fot the intake. so your right in the area you should be.....now put em on!

Dang. There is a guy somewhere on these Mustang threads that has a complete 02Gt motor for sale that has only about 9,000 miles on it and he only wants about $800 for it. Only 9,000 miles is virtually a brand new motor all together. If I were you, I would buy that motor and sell the other parts...my .02

The Pi swap is a very nice improvement over the stock non Pi heads. If you can do the work yourself, you'll save about $1000 or so on the install. It took me about 10 hours to do the complete swap. If you run into any issues, just let us know, we should be able to get you through it.

is DANG a real word?

how do you know it has 9000 miles? theres no proof. just his word. And thats cheap for a complete PI motor so somethings up. Thats a good 500 to 700 less then guys are getting for them. Also most 02's still have the all plastic intake so you don't make out thier either. Plus I like the added compression of the PI heads on my Npi block. heres your 02 cents back.
