Just recently got my motor running stock short block FRPP aluminum heads, F-cam, trick flow R- series upper & lower intake. I have a stock size aluminum radiator 180 thermostat and electric fan, underdrive pulley kit. The car runs good but the temp gauge runs just above normal under regular driving conditions, havent been in the throttle real hard yet i imagine it will only get hotter. I removed the metal heater hoses , got adapter for temp sensor one question is i blocked the bypass from the thermostat housing to water pump anyone have trouble from doing this? Also does anyone run a hose from one side to the other, the rear coolant passages on the lower intake?
