We're Less Friendly These Days

Hello Fellow 94-95 :SNSign: Gearheads

Speaking as a long time 94-95 member here

I'm sure those of you who also are long time members can remember
how laid back, and friendly it used to be here

I'm not saying the peeps here now are not good folk

We have gotten so big with all the new members and all

I'm saying we used to call each other by name .........
I'm talking ... REAL NAME

For some of you newer members ..........

Ever wonder why you don't see much childish behavior here

The reason why is because of the quality of peeps who hang here :Word:

So you see ... This place is so ... Very Special

Back in the day ... Every once and a while ... We'd do a name thread

That practice is way over due my friends

When you address a person by name it make them feel special

So .........

First name only please

Then everybody can be more friendly
and
Make this place even more unique
and
We can talk to each other by name

OK, since Grady asked so nicely:

My first name is Matt. I tend to use user names instead of real names because there are a lot of Matt's, Chris's, John's, etc. User names are unique, and I personally don't think it to be rude or impersonal to use someone's user name. But to each their own, I answer to Matt or Chythar.

I'm Zach...but most of my friends call me Huck.

Well my name is Chris and I have to agree with Grady. I haven't been a member here long but it's nice to have someone at least know of you. I really enjoy reading all the post and it does seem like a really great crowd that hangs around here.

Name is Brian....

and to add on...native New (south) Jersian (love that place), New Mexico currently. Air Force pays the bills, I fly on C-130's, go everywhere, all the time. Was a c-130 engine/airframe mechanic prior to that, for 10 yrs. Part time on line student (almost done). Got a German Shepherd, couple of kids, cool wife, and a Harley. I like beer, too.
