05GT wheels on 67

Can someone tell if it is easy to fit late mustang stock 17" wheels on 67? Cannot find anything "reliable" on the Internet about this. Mostly am interested to know if hole for hub is not too small, and if there are any obstructions because of longer backspacing (eg tie rod appers quite in the way). If there are will 1" wheel spacer solve this, or longer spacer is needed? Have a good deal on 05 gt wheels and want to make sure they fit...

I have 05 V6 wheels on my 67. I had to purchase 1.25" spacers and they fit/look great. Reenmachine also has put on the new wheels/spacers and probably has more experience. As for me, no problems and they fit great.

Thanks, can you tell what is your rim and tire width (mine is I gues 8" and 235 mm resp.) and how far do they clear the tie rod?

I saw this Mustang at a local car show last month...
