Currently - I'm doing a 68 Shelby Convertible tribute.
Have a 5.0 EFI (speed density) motor from an 86 Fox mounted, ready to go.
Problem - A guy gave me a modified wiringness ( based on painless supposedly) that he integrated into a single main harness. Well, the FPR doesn't work and injectors wont open. He says the 3 computers I have are bad. Hard to believe
So I now have my original 86 main harness back. There is no coil wiring on this harness? I beleive the coil wiring was a part of the another harness I don't have. I"m trying to figure out how to run separate wiring (if possible) or splice in the coil lines into this original harness. I do have the fuseable link wiring in both harnesses so I thought I could cut the coil wires from the bad harness and splice them into the original. However I cannot find the other wire (ground? - the hot line is green w red stripe) in the original wiring harness? Can I just ground it somewhere? I figure not. I'm at a loss how to proceed. I
Thanks for any input.
