anywhere else to tap into oil pressure beside pressure sending unit?

i went to take out the stock oil pressure sending unit, its a later year one, its the short stubby one. its real tight and its starting to get rounded off and i fear i cannot get it off.

i am going to try some things to get it out but are there any plugs or anything that get oil pressure?

nvm, elbow grease and vice grips got it out lol i was starting to worry a bit. but i am happy now!
