I have a 1990 Saleen and I am trying to up-grade my braking system. Does anyone have any insight into which brake system performs the best. Wilwood vs. Brembo vs. Bear. Would a four piston brake on a 13" rotor stop a car better than a two piston brake system. If anyone is educated on brake systems can you please help advise me on which to buy.
Thanks. :bang: :bang:

I have 2 Fox Saleens, and they both now have Baer kits on them.

1985:
13" x 1.1" fronts, 12" x .810" rears

1989:
12" x 1.1" fronts, 12" x .810" rears

Both kits are 2 piston. A 4 piston would be a bit better, and also cost more.

With the 16" OE Saleen 5 spoke wheels I needed a 1/4" spacer on the front due to the wheel design on the back of the spokes. This was due to getting the wider rotor. Had I gone with the .810" fronts, I would not have needed the spacer. With 17" wheels no spacer is needed for either car.

Front 13" w/ 17" Speedline wheel on the '85:
