I installed a Borgenson steering shaft a couple years ago and ever since my steering wheel is clocked about the 10 o'clock position when going straight. It does not pull and alignment is fine and in spec.

If I remember correctly, the shaft only bolts on one way at each end because there are flat spots for the bolt to screw against.

Could I shorten one tierod a couple turns and lengthen the other the same number of turns to correct the steering wheel orientation?

That should work. Just bear in mind the total toe spec is 1/8" IIRC. Not a lot of room for error. I peronally would pay an alignment shop to set it up so both the toe and camber are to your liking.

i have this same problem after installing a 03 cobra rack. I'll be doing your solution and then taking it to get realigned. It drives me nuts how it is now, i can't imagine how you've lasted years with it like that. Bigger man than I. :nice:
