VIN Stamped Block Into Original Stang Worth Reinstalling?

I recently bought another car, a 72 Mach 1. With it came the original block and it is stamped on the left rear side with the VIN number. I have personnally verified the number/match. The car is an "H" code 351 Cleveland 2 barrel, automatic, tach, fold down, A/C, console, etc. The car currently has another 351C in it that has been rebuilt, but is not fully assembled nor running.

My question is: it will cost at least $2,000 to rebuild the original engine and put it back in. Do you think having the VIN stamped, numbers matching block is worth the cost of putting it back in? Just assume I am selling the car for arguments sake.

I have never personnally seen a VIN stamped block on a Mustang before and know it is uncommon, so a new situation for me as I never cared before.

Thanks!
