What Would You Do????

Hello Experienced Members -

I recently bought Y303 GT-40 heads from www.blueovalindustries, and they arrived with two unique/differing bolt hole sizes. This is causing a problem when I try to use the ARP Bolt kit (154-3705), which have the washer-bushings that fill the inside of the bolt holes and guide and center the bolt.

The problem is that the washer-bushings fit the bolt holes for the passenger side head, but are just a millimeter or two too small on the driver side head.

What would you experienced folks do if you were short on time? Would you go back to blueovalindustries.com and try to swap the driver side head, or would you try to find another bolt kit that will fit? Would you dare take it to a machine shop and expand the holes?

I have to say that I am little uneasy about the two heads not having matching bolt holes - it makes you wonder if a few other specs are off too.

What would you do?

Thanks in advance for any replies.
