I am trying to decide on wheels for my 66 coupe (289 5 lug car).

To be honest if I could get a set of stock 15" FORD wheels chromed I would be happy!

Anyone got Am Racing Baja or Outlaws on their car? Or anybody have basic chrome as I described above?

When you say basic chrome, do you mean the 55 Chevy from American Graffiti? That could be cool.

I had the AM Baja wheels on my F150 before and they require constant polishing, never again. Its got the factory wheels now.

The AM Outlaw looks decent.

I would rather have these than any of those. American Racing and Cragar used to make these. I would just get smooth center caps.

Why not just look for a used set of factory chrome styled steel wheels, Magnum 500, Torque Thrust, Cragar SS, Keystone Klassic, Ansen spring 5 slot mags, or chrome ones like this picture. There might be something good on craigslist.

Yes I was thinking as you posted on that '56 (i think) Chevy
I sure don't want a polishing project as you mention.

Thanks for the image Pete, how many Mustangs have you owned?

I'm really starting to the idea of the old school look of those chrome ones like the 55 Chevy.

To avoid polishing stick with chrome or get clear coated aluminum.
