How about this shifter?

Just remember that the shifter is the connection you have to the transmission. The wrong input will wreak havok on your shift forks. I've pulled the tranny to fix one. Pain in the ascot. So it's ok to spend a little more for a quality piece.

Well I ordered the shifter. It's the Summit shifter that some guy was selling on ebay for $35 bucks. It is $125 on the Summit website, so I figure if its no good, I can just sell it again. I can make at least my money back. I talked to another buddy at home, and his friend has this shifter and likes it, so we shall see. ANYTHING is better than the stock wet noodle.

Another question though: I have read in a few places that the Tremec 3650 shifter that's in the car has internal shift stops. A few people say to set the shift stops on the shifter as well, but some people say not to. Anyone with experience on this? I am thinking I'll just set the shift stops back slightly from where I would want them if there were no internal shift stops. This would just be like some kind of extra insurance for my shift forks.
