I have rebuild my 72 cleveland with these new parts..

This is just my estimate, but I would say about 420 flywheel horses and about 335 rear wheel horses. + or - 20 horses. I base this on the info you gave me and you usually lose approx. 20% of your horsepower to the rear wheels.

Sorry...I'll offer a dissenting opinion so that you aren't too disappointed....not a chance of breaking 300 RWHP.

I will not be disapointed what ever the numbers will be....:D

But one thing are sure.... my car are much much faster and much more torque than with my old cleveland with 4v ironheads.:nice:

test it on a chassy dyno, estimated horse power is a bunch of bull

Dynapack 4000 is not estimated hp.

Dynapack power measurement can be performed on 2-wheel drive vehicles, or RWD. Dynapacken consists of 2 electro-hydraulic devices are connected directly to thethe vehicle hub . This means that we get on indentifying features wheels that are 99.9% accurate and the problem with wheelspin never occur regardless of power in the engine.

It does not matter if you drive with studded tires or candy, and there are no inaccuracies in the readings due to temprature in the tires, or tires, the car must not be strapped or have x-tra weight in the trunk. We can do a test from my. to max. revs between 3 and 30 seconds, and we can slow the load of all revolutions.

Our dynapack 4000 can withstand load of over 1100 hp on 2-wheel drive vehicles over time, and this is hp at the wheels. The equipment is self calibrating against tempratur and humidity. We warehouses all our tests on the computer and we adjust for wideband lambda. (Censor showing percentage of air and fuel).

Please don't take this the wrong way, I am not trying to be a jerk, but that's not even 1 hp per 1 ci, ie the ol' milestone of engine building, you can beat that with a high compression 289, so nothing to write home about, more importantly how much did that cost you?

I was somewhat close....10 horses off and just going off of what he had in it...i think with a little tuning on the carb and timing you could get anoter 10 to 15 horses out of it....and 300 to the rear wheels is not bad...you can put that around 375 at the flywheel.
There is not a dyno within 100 miles of where I am, we have to estimate, and are pretty good at it.
