Thanks, I've had that Galaxie since I was 18. I still get her out for a drive quite a bit and even drive it to work on nice days.

    04 Cobra SHortblock...2V Heads ?????

yep, I'm sure. n/a 4v's had the small dish pistons. 03/04 supercharged cobras had forged 16cc dish pistons. now, what I'm not sure about is the op's question about the need to drill a hole.

    buying advice needed

Thanks. I looked at it today. The cooling tsb had been done and I checked the car out with a mechanic's stethicsope (sp?) and didn't hear anything abnormal. The guy selling it said he had never seen anyone so thorough... I know it doesn't look like I've used the search feature but I have...

    buying advice needed

I'm going to look at a 96 cobra that I might buy. I've owned a 04 GT but have never even looked under the hood on a SN95 4V. What things should I look out for when I'm checking out this car? What are some know problems with them? Is there anything special I should do during a test drive...

    Short Throw Shifter

I have a Tri-Ax and have felt an MGW. In my opinion the MGW is much better and I wish that I had bought it instead. Anyone want to trade an MGW for my Tri-Ax?

Non-IC KB with Snow Boost Controller?

I was just thinking I could get the 6psi kit and run that on the street and when I went to the track change the pully and use the injection. It sounded like a cheaper solution and I've been hearing that the water/meth injection is better for the boost than the intercooler.

Non-IC KB with Snow Boost Controller?

Has anybody used the Snow Boost Coller with a KB? Could you get as much boost using the Snow kit with a non intercooled KB as with a intercooled KB? If so that would be much cheaper.

Strange suspenion noise, or so i believe

If it only happens after you've been running the a/c its condensation off of the a/c dryer dripping onto the exhaust manifold. Don't worry about it.

Looks like I'm in the minority - MGW shifter isn't for me

Its in the middle. No its not as short as a shift as the full shifter but its shorter than stock. Its not as precise as shift but is better than stock. Also its as comfortable as stock and as quiet as stock. Its definately not a combination for pure track use but my car (just like 99.99% of...

Looks like I'm in the minority - MGW shifter isn't for me

Don't remember exactly how I did it. I really don't remember any modification but its definately possible that I used longer bolts. I'm pretty sure I didn't have to drill out the holes in the stock handle.
