I've never had any other covers than the cast FRPP:

Good looking and seals well.

I like fabricated covers too but always disliked the logos (ie. no Ford Racing available) but I just saw another SB with fabricated covers without logos on them. After looking around I only find Summits:

Are they OK? Welding, fit, sealing etc? Any fitment issues on a 351W with Edelbrock RPM heads? They are listed as tall, so I'm guess I'll be OK with my roller rockers and stud girdles?

An alternative is the Moroso:

at a lot more $$ + with a small logo :nonono:

I like Auto Works Racing covers, but for any of those covers you'd still need to fabricate a oil fill/breather hole, including a baffel. Are there any plain aluminum covers that include oil fill/breather holes out there?

Do you know whether these Mr. Gasket "baffled" breather grommets will prevent oil leaks?

They're $5.75 a pair at Summit. Summit also sells a copycat under its own name for $1.50 each.

There's also this valve cover breather clamp from Wysco, pn WA6090, $23 apiece at Jeg's (pn 938-WA6090):

This looks like it would provide a totally oil tight seal at the valve cover surface, and the added height would prevent any blowby oil from coming out the breather or at the supplied O-ring that the breather plugs into.

Finally, there's this Trick Flow oil filler tube kit, pn TFS-51400800, $30 at Summit.

This tube is so tall that no blowby could come out the top. So the only leaking source would be at the grommet at the valve cover surface.
