i have a nitrous express wet kit that i am wanting to use as a dry kit for the time being. so the question is will the stock injectors support a 100 shot dry? its a 99 cobra. thanks again guys
I have a WET kit that I was spraying on my 98 cobra >( I spray 100 wet ) no tune . I have seen bad things happen to DRY shot motor's. Burned pistions and heads , corosion of the bearings from a lean condition > I would not spray more than 75 hp in to you motor without a tune > 100 is pressing you luck > but this is just my .02> jeremy
To support a 100 HP dry shot, there must be 100 HP worth of "reserve" in the fuel injectors. Otherwise, a lean AF is the result. Just how lean depends upon just how far above the 100% duty cycle the NOX drives the AF ratio.
I wouldn't do it unless you are looking for an excuss to rebuild your motor.
