7 of us met in Austin and drove up to S.A.R.

2006 C6 Z06 (stock)
2002 C5 Z06 (stock)
200x SS Camaro (LTs, LID, BFG Drs, untuned)
2004? SRT-4 (minor boltons)
2001 Lightning (boost bypass mod)
1997 Mustang GT (PI cams, PI intake, X pipe, CAI, untuned, 315 Nitto Drs)
2004 Mustang GT (in Sig)

A few more met us up there...like a Dodge Daytona charger, and a Fox. Everyone else had to work or had other things come up.

But anywho we all had a blast, but NONE of us could get out of the 2.XX 60's. Absolutly ZERO track prep.

My first pass I got on Vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ilPvdzkHLgU

I filmed other runs, but they didnt show up

Best run of the night though was a 12.22 @ 124.17MPH with a crappy 2.12 60'. Boost would spike to 12PSI and then instantly back down to 11.3. (I had it set to "spike" to 12PSI). And it ran a 12.43 @ 122.7 with 10.3 PSI after a 15-20 minute cool down...ALL other passes were hotlapped. Overall Im "OK" with it, but considering everyone elses best times, I didnt do too bad.

the C6 Z06 ran a 12.6 @ 119

The C5 Z06 (last I heard from him) ran a low 13 @ 116...(others said he went 12s later)

SS went a 13.2 @ 108

SRT-4 went a 14.1 @ 100MPH

Lightning went a 14.6 @ 94MPH (something is wrong?)

97GT went a 14.7 @ 95MPH (thats not right either)

The 06 vette owner hasnt raced in 40 years. the C5 owner hadnt raced in like 14 years. So IMO they did very well.

Ill be going back in a few months( NOT on a Wed night :notnice: )....and reclaim 11s atleast. Im not down with running 12s LOL.

Thanks guys :) IM not exactly too happy with the trap either LOL...I know it sounds crazy, but it should be well above that. problem is my setup is now for mainly highway and not drag. 3.55 gears would be perfect for it...the 3.27s just start coming in and bam I cross the line. Hotsides on the turbos are a little big as well and she really needs COLD weather to really come alive.

Im actually tempted to step down to .81 hotsides vs the .96s I have. That would help alot. Ill be back though...next time should be with turbo cams and maybe those smaller hotsides. Also need to figure out how the heck im maxing out my new dual Ford GT pump setup :rlaugh:

So... 10's on the stock block? Do you think its possible? I would think your HP is close... you just need a good launch.

How many miles on the Turbo setup do you have now? I am curious what HP you are looking at with 12 psi!!!! Do you know?

Thanks,

Matt
