Just got the rear drivers side axle bearing replaced on my 04 Cobra. However, now, much like in an earlier thread I read, the car squeaks when turning left on UNEVEN surfaces and occasionally on bumpy roads. Thinking it might be the shock but open to suggestions.

If shock, anyone have any recommendations brand wise? Single adjustable vs double adjustable?

I am getting new 17x10.5 wheels and tires monday and will need an alignment. Change shocks now anyways? they are 6 years old.

If you have OEM shocks on there from the original owner might be time to change them, if you had to change the bearings then the axle housing might have gotten rear end fluid on you rotors and brake pads. Theres no saving the brake pads or the rotors once they are glazed. Changing them would eliminate the constant squeaking. They still function as usual, just damn annoying:(.

That had not occurred to me, I will check out the brakes when I get home, will they squeak even when I am NOT applying the brakes?

Yea, they will squeak long as the same brake pads are on that were contaminated. The stealership didn't want to replace my rotors but, my break pads. So every time there is a bump in the road or launch, Squeak! Better than it was b/c before the break pads were changed, constant squeaking no matter what I did, sanding them down dosn't help either.:nonono: Talk about a Squeaking torture, didnt even want to drive my car b/c it would constantly squeak while moving, even louder in neighborhoods.:)
