Does the XR4TI intake flow as well as the 88 Turbo Coupe Intake?

I have an XR4TI intake that I smoothed out the inside of the intake runners with a long dremel shaft and about 30 round sanding wheels, lol, and wanted to know if the XR4TI intake is just as good as the 88 Turbo Coupe intake. Are the lower intakes the same? I know the uppers look different. This is going on a turbo motor of course Thanks guys! Especially Stinger, without your swap info I would never have thought this project possible!

They're both more or less the same on the inside, the earlier "square" intake is just a little taller.

I smoothed out the inside of my upper too... I couldn't believe how much casting flash and other junk was up in there.
