Hey all! I just put in the JLT and sheesh that was really easy to do. I also got the Xcal 2 and yes that was as easy as they say as well, Everyone here must get this stuff!

The difference in the car is awesome. It squeals the tires into second and I even get a little chip into third. All I did was up the shift points 4mph each and put the 91 octane tune in ( dumb CA gas ) There was another option after the shift points that I wasn't too sure what it was so I didn't change them.

Ya the change was huge. It feels soo much more powerful now. I'm guessing its about 20 to 25 ish more HP. CAI and tuner would be the 1st thing to do for anyone imho. I played around with it today again and it squeals the tires going into 3rd. Almost all of the lag from the transmission is gone and the throttle response is beautiful.

Osiris,
That's sounds very impressive on the gains and I'm glad that you noticed a big difference on our CA 91 premium gas. I too am in San Diego, where'd you get your JLT and Xcal2 from? Locally at JBA or through someone like Brenspeed? I'd like to know as that is going to be one of the first mods to my GT. Thanks for the info and maybe see you around town sometime.
