Hello all, new to the forums.
I recently purchased a 331 stroker kit from a west coast company. the kit included:
- Scat cast crank
- Scat forged rods
- Probe piston
- Bearings
- Rings
Over all I am very pleased with the components, but...
The problem I'm having is with the crank shaft, the first one had a groove in one of the journals (apparently from the balancing machine. Sent it back with my flywheel and damper for a replacement crank).
New crank shows up with old balance sheet (I thought I would get a new balance sheet) and a little dent on the rear main seal surface of the crank. I've attached a couple of photos, what do you guys think?
Is it impossible to get a perfect crank through the mail? wtf!
