i purposely put the aluminum panels in the Monster to add contrast. The riveted panels look good as long as you make sure to properly space out the rivets.
Riveting the steel panels makes zero sense..And waiting on somebody to weld’ and smooth them in later is postponing a stupid amount of labor at a later date.
It doesn’t look race car, IMO, it adds detail to an otherwise bland front apron. MOF, Depending on how much sht you have up front it may, or may not make a rats red bunion hole one way or the other. But as far as my particular situation goes, I’ll take the riveted aprons over the 40 hours spent welding, grinding, smoothing, priming, and painting steel panels that get just as covered up as the aluminum ones do.
